In 1987 Brian McCormack (Director) and Tarlok Nandra (Director) registered Beamfast as a Limited company. They started as a carpentry ‘Labour Only’ business with their first head office based in Newbury Park, London.
Beamfast moved to Northgate Industrial Estate in Romford, Essex. They developed their first in-house workshop with stock rooms and material storage facilities.
Brian McCormack retired and left beamfast in 2005.
Beamfast became BM Trada Certified for Timber Fire Door Manufacturing and Installation.
Beamfast’s head office moved to larger premises located in Forest Industrial Park, Hainault, London. Since 1987 Beamfast has evolved as a company and now provides bespoke joinery services.
Beamfast have two joinery manufacturing workshops which allows them to both supply and fit.
Beamfast became FSC and PEFC Certified.
Beamfast became CHAS accredited.
Beamfast became an ISO 9001 – Quality Management Certified company.
This was a busy year for Beamfast they became a part of the Achilles Building Confidence supply chain management service.
Beamfast are registered as the London Underground’s approved timber fire door manufacturer and maintenance contractor, as well as approved installers of both timber and metal fire doors.
Beamfast’s in-house manufacturing workshop upgraded their machinery to an advanced five axis CNC machine.
William Wagstaff left the company making it a solely family run business.
Beamfast achieved the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System accreditation.
Beamfast invested in a Talbott’s Biomass Energy Systems Wood Burner, allowing Beamfast to produce a sustainable source of heating for the workshops whilst reducing landfill.
Beamfast achieved Gold Constructionline membership.
Interior Fit Out and Refurbishment.
Beamfast achieved the BM Trada Security Rated Doors; and BM Trada Dual Scope Fire and Security Rated Doors certification; and Secured By Design accreditation.
Beamfast invested in a Hot & Cold Laminating Press and Glue Line making the entire door finishing process an inhouse operation.
